Climate Cafe® Network gathering

An invitation to join Coordinators, friends and partners from across Scotland and the world to celebrate 10 years of Climate Cafe® chat and action!

10.30 am to 4.30 pm (BST)

This event has been scheduled to align with public transport: Trains arrive at Dunkeld & Birnam Station, just 5 minutes away, at 10.18 am from the South and 10.45 am from the North

10.00 am to 10.50 am: Refreshments will be served – time for Networking

10.30 am: Opportunity to browse materials and Climate Café® resources

10.50 am: Welcome, introduction to the day: new connections

11 am: Reflections and stories from a decade of Climate Café®

11.30 am: Live link across Climate Café® Network; from Arctic Circle to Lagos

12.10 pm: Author Emma-Lou Beeson shares an extract from her new book: The Mighty Tree, a collaboration with Climate Café® Network

12.20 pm : Creative activity – introduction from Rosie!

12.30: Networking Lunch and opportunity to meet, share ideas, get creative, enjoy a short walk to Birnam Oak and participate in workshops.

1.40 pm: Photo-call

2.00 pm: Short films from Climate Café® Network –

including films from Climate Café® Oulu, Finland; Climate Café® Crieff High

2.15 pm: Looking to the future: New Opportunities, New Collaborations

2.30 pm Keynote Speaker:

Professor Becky Parker, Founder/Director, Project Earth

3.00 pm: Cups of tea and Birthday Cake!

Activity: One Chat, One Action

3.40 pm: Live link to Climate Café® Coordinators in United States of America: Opened by Climate Cafe® Asheville, an update post Hurricane Helene.
