The Scottish Parliament hosts a welcoming, open and free Climate Café® space in the Parliament for everyone during the Festival of Politics to inspire chat and action.
In 2026, the Climate Café® Festival of Politics will be held on Thursday 27th August from 11 am to 6 pm for everyone to be able to drop in, enjoy coffee and chat, as well as the famous, bespoke Climate Café®, Scottish Parliament Shortbread!
From 11 am, meet the Climate Café® team from the global Network and the Scottish Parliament Coordinators; learn more about sustainability in the Parliament; connect with Climate Café® Coordinators from other parts of Scotland.
At noon, there will be a presentation from The Climate Reality Project, delivered by Climate Reality Leaders in Scotland to share the latest science, impacts and solutions on climate.
Network, share ideas and inspiration with those participating in the Festival of Politics, hear about Scotland’s Climate Coalition, Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, celebrating twenty years of collaboration and action with a presentation from Coalition Chair, Mike Robinson OBE at 2 pm.
Drink, chat and act – connecting with others, sharing ideas, inspiration and support – just like other Climate Café® spaces around the world at this special event for the Festival of Politics.
