Climate Café® spaces at COP26 with Climate Reality

At COP26, Climate Café® worked with The Climate Reality Project.
For COP26 in Glasgow, Climate Reality Leaders, trained by former US Vice President Al Gore, came together with those involved in Climate Café to create spaces to share climate stories and create connections to inspire and deliver bold climate action.
Our COP26 Climate Café®Main Space
Our main COP26 Climate Café: Climate Reality Europe in partnership with Climate Café was hosted by First Bus Glasgow at the largest charging depot for electric buses in the UK! This venue was accessible by electric shuttle bus from St Vincent Street, near George Square.
Visitors could join the conversation, share stories, have a coffee and hear from various contributors and climate leaders at 11am and 3pm every day; with an open mic session from 1 – 2pm daily. Find out daily contributors here.
Pop up Climate Café® spaces
Pop up Climate Cafés with Climate Reality also popped up in venues across the city and online – in collaboration with the Climate Crisis Film Festival.
These Climate Café spaces offered opportunities for participation and conversation around COP26 for those in Glasgow and also virtually.
A team of Climate Reality Leaders from around the world and the Climate Cafè team was at COP 26 to work with community hosts!
The Pop Up and virtual Climate Café® spaces throughout COP26 were kindly supported by the Scottish Government.
