In June 2024, the Climate Café® Network team travelled to Rome to support The Climate Reality Training Programme, with Former US Vice President Al Gore. Four of our team trained as Climate Reality Leaders, including Fiona, our Chair, Lindsey, Ruby and Dougie – age 12.
Through the 3 day programme, the team supported Climate Café® spaces for those training as Climate Reality Leaders each day.
These Café spaces brought people together people to drink, chat and act on climate, before the training started each morning and during the lunch breaks. These new connections, shared perspectives, ideas, learning and even inspired some new Climate Café® start ups!
