In November 2024, the launch of Climate Café® Paris La Défense created a pop up space for the local community, living and working in Paris La Défense to connect on climate.
A welcoming space to come together informally at The Nest MGallery, Paris La Défense. A bright, inspiring space to drink, chat and act on climate. For those visiting Paris, it can be a location to meet and connect with others.
Climate Café® was selected to be profiled as one of the ‘Seeds of Change’ solutions at the changeNOW Summit in Paris and Founder, Jess Pepper presented the idea of Climate Café®, a simple community led idea to create space to drink, chat and act on climate.
Inspiration and connection
The story of Climate Café® Paris La Défense starts in March 2024.
It was here that the initiative for Climate Café® Paris La Défense emerged, as The Nest MGallery offered to host and curate this Climate Café® space in Paris.
Now that seed has taken root, as a space to bring people together to drink, chat and act on climate has launched in Paris La Défense with all the potential to inspire and enable change .
After months of collaboration, the launch of Climate Café® Paris La Défense realises the vision, to connect people and businesses in Paris La Défense to realise bold net zero ambitions.
In bringing people together where they work and live, it also has the potential to connect internationally, and there is already interest in connecting other cities with a legacy of hosting the international negotiations on climate change, including Glasgow, hosts of COP26.
